CanNor used green meeting guides. | 100% | 100% |
Strategies and/or Comments
- CanNor offices are distributed across more than 40 percent of Canada's land mass. The majority of Agency meetings are conducted by teleconference and by using electronic media. This reduces paper use as well as reduces greenhouse gases that might be generated in transporting employees to face-to-face meeting. Through a Memorandum of Understanding between CanNor and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC), the Agency avails itself of green meeting services and guides produced by AANDC.

Strategies and/or Comments
- CanNor conducted all informatics procurement using PWGSC tools and instruments, which are greened through the PWGSC Commodity Management Framework.
- In some cases, the use of these instruments may contradict the objectives of comprehensive land claims agreements in communities where CanNor has offices. In these instances, CanNor determined how to meet the principles of green procurement while responding to the objectives of these agreements.

As existing shared-use equipment is replaced, efforts will be made to replace equipment with multifunctional devices.
